According to BeinCrypto, the highly advertised AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT, has numerous advantages but also has its limitations. While AI can bring many benefits to students, web developers, and others, the chatbot is not all-powerful, especially when it comes to predicting the price of Bitcoin.
Despite our reliance on artificial intelligence to simplify our lives and solve various problems, ChatGPT cannot provide a forecast for the price of Bitcoin or any other major altcoins, nor can it provide any data on the price of Ethereum or other significant altcoins, despite this information being readily available on the internet.
One of the real challenges for AI is accessing real-time information. Furthermore, after the cryptocurrency created by Satoshi Nakamoto reached record-breaking prices in November 2021, the AI only has information about the BTC price in April 2021.
This is a normal occurrence since the data available to ChatGPT is locked in until September 2021, creating a gap in subsequent events. However, ChatGPT can still confidently suggest preferred cryptocurrencies.
Another weakness of the AI-powered chatbot is that it does not receive real-time updates. So, if required, the AI won’t be able to announce the winner of the next FIFA World Cup or provide insights into the cryptocurrency space.
Hence, it is not advisable to rely on the chatbot for alarming information about the collapse of FTX or even the arrest of Do Kwon and the downfall of Terra (LUNA), as these calamities are unknown to OpenAI.
This means that it is more practical to let the chatbot focus on less pressing topics and avoid relying on it for up-to-the-minute news. However, other chatbots, like ChatSonic, can comment on recent events, particularly since they directly retrieve information from search engines. It is essential to note that ChatGPT has limitations in terms of current relevance and understanding certain topics.
The data incorporated into it is extensive but not infinite, especially when it comes to less internationally recognized subjects. The AI can exhaust its repertoire of answers.
